Drs Gilles Gauthier (U. Laval), Dominique Berteaux (UQAR), and their colleagues were awarded a grant from the IPY program of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for the Canadian component of ArcticWOLVES on trophic dynamics of Arctic food webs. The 3-year grant (2007-2009) is to the amount of CDN $920,000.

Drs Marcel Klaassen (NIOO-KNAW), Bruno Ens (Alterra-Texel), and their colleagues submitted a proposal on Arctic shorebirds and climate change to the Dutch Funding Agency to secure funding for ArcticWOLVES fieldwork in Greenland and Russia.
